Our Solution Consulting department supports sales in the pre-sales phase by providing expertise in our SaaS platform (product demos) and functional purchasing processes (S2C, P2P). The EMEA team includes a VP EMEA, managers for South EMEA, DACH, and UK/Nordics.

Role

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to join our team. The role requires a dynamic approach in a fast-paced technology environment to help customers solve complex business problems. Solutions Consultants are analytical, product-focused, collaborative, and focused on building and delivering value to new customer relationships.

What you will do with us

• Collaborate with Account Executives on qualified opportunities to uncover customer business objectives, pain points, and project requirements
• Create winning strategic sales strategies and presentations for prospects using best practices and industry expertise
• Present the value of the Ivalua Platform with highly sophisticated and engaging demos
• Provide functional responses to RFPs and RFIs and support all functional/technical activities from initial bid response through the entire sales cycle
• Recommend and support different selling strategies and pre-sales activities including Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and Proof of Concepts (POCs) to meet advanced prospect requirements
• Work effectively with other parts of the organization, including Product Management and R&D, to support ongoing product improvements via prospects’ and customers’ feedback

Your profile

If you have the following experience and strengths, this role could be for you:

Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge and experience in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain functions
• Knowledge and experience with SaaS and Cloud-Based applications
• Ability to articulate the value of and sell SaaS/Cloud-Based applications
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Spend management, sourcing, contract management, eProcurement, eInvoicing, Spend Analytics, Direct Procurement MRP/ERP, Services procurement, Supplier Master Data management domains
• Staying current on the solution roadmap and competitive offers to improve industry knowledge

Soft skills:

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent French and English language skills; Spanish is a plus
• Autonomous, analytical, commercially aware, well organized and motivated by challenging environments

Strong proficiency in MS Office suite and other software tools (forecasting/sales tracking)
