Education & Experience
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine with a PhD in Animal Nutrition or a related field preferred.
- Over 5 years experience in Animal Health Pet Care or veterinary applied research with a proven track record in team management in a scientific context in a large corporation.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to convey scientific information to diverse audiences and build networks within professional associations.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Strong critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Set individual objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching to develop a cohesive and high‑performing team.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Global Marketing to align scientific insights with market needs, ensuring Royal Canin remains a leader in health nutrition.
- Scientific Communication: Enhance the quality of scientific content and deliver impactful toolkits for our internal scientific community while engaging with external stakeholders at congresses and publications.
- Regulatory Affairs: Ensure timely delivery of product claims dossiers and optimize claims substantiation to navigate regulatory challenges effectively.
- Research Collaboration: Identify opportunities for long‑term scientific research and assess project deliverables to enhance product performance and innovation.
