Pet & Product Science Senior Manager is a pivotal role in driving scientific integrity and product excellence while contributing to the well‑being of pets everywhere. This role involves leading a team while promoting collaboration to meet strategic objectives.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine with a PhD in Animal Nutrition or a related field preferred.
• Over 5 years experience in Animal Health Pet Care or veterinary applied research with a proven track record in team management in a scientific context in a large corporation.

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication skills with ability to convey scientific information to diverse audiences and build networks within professional associations.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Strong critical thinking and decision‑making skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Set individual objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching to develop a cohesive and high‑performing team.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Global Marketing to align scientific insights with market needs, ensuring Royal Canin remains a leader in health nutrition.
• Scientific Communication: Enhance the quality of scientific content and deliver impactful toolkits for our internal scientific community while engaging with external stakeholders at congresses and publications.
• Regulatory Affairs: Ensure timely delivery of product claims dossiers and optimize claims substantiation to navigate regulatory challenges effectively.
• Research Collaboration: Identify opportunities for long‑term scientific research and assess project deliverables to enhance product performance and innovation.
