The EMEA Campus Recruitment Team is responsible for developing and executing Campus recruitment strategies for American Express and managing all Apprenticeship, Intern, Graduate and MBA recruitment across various lines of business. The team recruit and oversee programmes in the following locations across EMEA: UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

These strategies include enhancing the prospective and full-time student experiences in addition to partnering with Human Resources and line of business colleagues in order to acquire and retain the best early talent for American Express.

Responsibilities

  • The Associate Talent Acquisition Partner will play a crucial role in recruiting for our apprenticeship and internship programs in France. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for recruiting early career talent.
  • Support in cultivating and maintaining relationships with Schools, Career Services and societies at several targeted universities and business schools and managing the campus recruitment and selection process for various business areas. Additionally, support in the management of recruiting activities and events, as well as marketing American Express on campus for these schools.
  • Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, industry associations, and other partners to promote the apprenticeship program.
  • Act as one of the points of contact for internal business partners, responsible for building strong relationships and assisting those groups in attracting and building a Campus talent pipeline.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring apprentices and interns are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the company.
  • Ensure the apprenticeship program complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Own administrative tasks between schools, CEG teams, and candidates for contract production and signatures.
  • Support internship recruitment for our wider EMEA markets.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Understanding and strong knowledge of the apprenticeship framework in France including legal regulations, apprenticeship levy, and tax and budget management
  • Fluent in French and English with Spanish desirable
  • Recruitment and/or relevant human resources background
  • Educated to degree level
  • Demonstrated Campus recruitment experience in apprenticeship recruitment
  • Demonstrated project management skills: ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise accordingly
  • Excellent organisational skills with experience of managing events
  • Proven competency in driving results in collaboration with others
  • Ability to analyse data effectively, report key findings and work with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Demonstrated internal and external relationship management skills and ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to problem solve
  • Excellent oral communication with the ability to present to large audiences at in-house events
  • Demonstrated passion for recruiting and the ability to represent American Express on-campus
  • Some travel and flexibility required for evening events
