🚀 Finance Consultant

Role Summary

The Finance Consultant will lead the design, configuration, and validation of D365 Finance processes including Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), Asset to Report (A2R), Cost Accounting, Consolidation, and Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed functional workshops across Finance process areas (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash & Bank, Costing, Closing & Consolidation).
• Define functional designs, configuration documents, and test scripts for Finance modules.
• Support fit-gap analysis between AX and D365, documenting business process gaps, risks, and proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with integration teams to validate data and interface flows between D365 Finance and legacy applications.
• Work with business controllers to define budgeting, cost center accounting, and financial reporting structures.
• Support setup of chart of accounts, financial dimensions, and intercompany mappings.
• Coordinate UAT, training, and cutover activities for Finance scope.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and French statutory accounting requirements.
• Contribute to data migration (master data, balances, historical data) and reconciliation validation between AX and D365.
• Collaborate with Planning (Demand/Supply) and Reporting teams to ensure end-to-end financial data consistency.

Skills & Experience

• 6+ years’ experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance in multinational or multi-entity environments, specifically France.
• Strong understanding of R2R, P2P, O2C, A2R, and Costing business processes.
• Experience integrating with third-party or satellite systems (Payroll, Expense Management, Procurement, BI).
• Hands‑on configuration experience in D365 Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management.
• Knowledge of local statutory and group reporting (Power BI familiarity preferred).
• Strong documentation and communication skills (English and French proficiency mandatory).
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and cross‑functional IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• D365 Finance Functional Certification (MB-310 or equivalent).
• Familiarity with cost accounting in manufacturing or service-based organizations.
