Within the Network Business Division (NBD) of ALE (Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise), under the management of the Product Line Manager within W&P BU, the OVNG Product Line Manager will be responsible for driving the evolution of the new generation of OmniVista. The role involves market and competition analysis of management platforms to identify our solution positioning and create differentiation in the market to address current and future key customers. Close customer engagement is essential to understand their needs and translate them into detailed functionalities and UI for R&D. Additionally, the role requires significant investment in business planning, certification strategy, documentation, and quality monitoring.
The position is based on competition strategy, research, market analysis, and customer requirements, with the ultimate goal of increasing revenues, profitability, customer satisfaction, and ensuring quality adherence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding and following top management strategy
- Designing profitable products/solutions aligned with customer needs and competitive positioning
- Managing the product/solution roadmap
- Defining go-to-market and pricing strategies, and DOA in collaboration with BLMs and Service PLMs
- Defining delivery strategies aligned with Service PLMs
- Creating pre- and post-sales materials
- Ensuring sales, tendering, and delivery readiness
- Contributing to internal knowledge sharing through webinars and meetings
