Job purpose

As an operational merchandise specialist, you will be the main contact person for all operations related to our product collection. You will support the product team in achieving back-office goals, streamlining processes, and linking multiple departments (product, allocation, demand planning, buying, master data). You will also provide analytics and insights in collaboration with Merchandising Planning and Buying teams to drive sales, optimize inventory, and support operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Operations support

  • Streamline operational processes to increase efficiency and quality.

  • Build strong relationships with all departments and stakeholders.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for product-related questions from various departments.

  • Manage price setup, system updates, and price checks during the season.

  • Input forecasts into the C8 system.

  • Update tracking launch files for HQ.

  • Manage master data for online channels.

  • Set up and update items in the system (SDP Approval, SF, C8).

  • Manage sample logistics.

  • Coordinate with logistics regarding shipment statuses.

Reporting

  • Summarize European market feedback and research reports for key stakeholders.

  • Assist in preparing presentations related to merchandising and products.

  • Deliver weekly sales reports to HQ.

  • Update sales databases.

  • Update pre-PO format plans.

  • Analyze sales performance and suggest in-season actions.

  • Lead competitor benchmarking and trend research.

  • Produce and prepare all sales reports to track KPIs.

  • Support key meetings and SAM events.

  • Perform other tasks as required.

Job requirements

Experience and education

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in retail fashion, preferably in an analytical role.

  • Self-motivated with the discipline to complete tasks independently.

  • Excellent Excel skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Innovative thinking and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Ability to balance numbers and trends.

  • Team player.
