Technical Service Specialist

Why This Role Matters

As aTechnical Service Specialist , you’ll be at the heart of our mission—ensuring our diagnostic instruments perform at their best to support accurate and timely patient care. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and upgrading our systems, supporting installations, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Be thefirst line of support for Abbott Ambassadors, resolving service issues efficiently (under 4 hours labor time).
• Plan and execute maintenance activities to ensure optimal instrument performance.
• Assist withinstrument installations and deinstallations , contributing to seamless transitions for our clients.
• Supporthardware and software upgrades (TSBs) to keep systems up to date.

• Contribution toeconomic growth and profitability in your district

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in:
  • Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Biotechnology, or Clinical Engineering
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar technical service role
• Proven ability toengage with lab staff and healthcare professionals
• Strongtechnical expertise in diagnostic instruments
• Excellentcommunication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency inanalytical tools and software
