Greenvolt Power Italy is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute directly to the design and execution of renewable energy projects. This role involves participating in the design, supervision, and construction of large-scale renewable initiatives, mainly focusing on solar PV, onshore wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key accountabilities

• Provide engineering advice and technical support for the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects, focusing on solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS.
• Review project design drawings and participate in discussions with designers and BOP Contractors.
• Assist in tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) by defining technical requirements and design specifications.
• Support the preparation and management of documentation needed to start construction on time.
• Coordinate with procurement to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding processes.
• Plan project steps to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective construction of solar PV, wind, and BESS projects.
• Supervise that during construction, all permits and regulatory requirements are met.
• Report project status, identify potential risks, and recommend solutions to the Board.
• Oversee payment approvals and document preparations in line with project schedules.
• Coordinate information flow within the Development Team and with other departments such as Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality.
• Manage technical, schedule, safety, and quality issues during construction.
• Engage with stakeholders during grid connection processes.
• Collaborate with EPC contractors to resolve construction design issues.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-6 years of experience in renewable energy projects, mainly PV and wind farm construction.
• Knowledge of components and technical equipment used in large-scale wind, solar PV, and high-voltage systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, WindPro, Wasp, PVsyst.
• Willingness to travel across Italy for project needs.
• Understanding of local regulations for grid connection.
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical skills and ability to interpret project design drawings.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Teamwork and reporting skills.
