We’re looking for a Senior Quality & Problem-Solving Expert (Master Black Belt) to lead advanced reactive problem‑solving across major automotive programs. The role drives structured methodologies such as Shainin Red X, Kepner‑Tregoe , and Six Sigma to identify root causes, implement robust corrective actions, and strengthen continuous improvement culture across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.

• Location: Turin, Italy (with cross‑site collaboration across Europe)

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate complex problem‑solving sessions (Shainin Red X, Kepner‑Tregoe, 8D).
• Diagnose high‑impact product and process issues to enable rapid, effective containment and permanent fixes.
• Coach and mentor engineering and quality teams on structured problem‑solving techniques.
• Support root‑cause activities across software, hardware, and manufacturing domains.
• Define, track, and verify corrective actions (closed‑loop verification).
• Integrate lessons learned and design standards into preventive processes.
• Apply data‑driven and statistical tools (SPC, DOE) when needed.
• Report outcomes and recommendations to management and global stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with suppliers and internal teams to ensure robust quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Manufacturing, or related Engineering.
• Certified Master Black Belt (Shainin Red X / Kepner‑Tregoe / Six Sigma) highly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or product quality.
• Proven experience leading structured root‑cause analysis and cross‑functional corrective actions.
• Proficiency in problem‑solving and statistical tools (SPC, DOE, PFMEA, Control Plans).
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• International experience and cross‑cultural collaboration mindset.
• Fluent English; Italian or other European language is a plus.
