As an Advertising Account Director in our Milan Office, you’ll lead and grow Taboola’s advertising business in Italy, partnering with top brands and agencies to deliver measurable outcomes at scale. You’ll inspire and develop a high-performing Account Management Team while building senior client relationships and setting the foundation for expansion across Italy.

Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact :

• Lead and develop the Italy account management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Drive client retention and revenue growth by building senior-level relationships with key Italian brands and agencies.
• Oversee onboarding, training, performance management, and career development for your team.
• Champion client needs internally by partnering with Product, Marketing, and Technical Support to influence new solutions.
• Represent Taboola at quarterly business reviews and strategic meetings with top clients.
• Prepare the Italy business for expansion into broader Southern European markets.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you’ll need :

• 10+ years of experience in digital advertising with a strong client-facing, revenue-focused background
• 5+ years of proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
• A strong track record of achieving and exceeding ambitious revenue targets
• Expertise in managing premium brands and agency partnerships within Italy
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and scale client business
• A structured and analytical approach (proficiency with the Office suite)
• Attention to detail
• Curiosity, appetite for innovation and a passion for excellence

Bonus points if you have :

• Previous digital performance marketing experience
• Experience managing teams across multiple European markets.
• Background in scaling books of business in fast-growth, international environments.
