Workshop Maintenance HSE Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Support Permit to work and interfering risks management
  • Supervise critical and high-risk workshop maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with the maintenance cell on the preparation of heat map and related defenses matrix
  • Develop special focused projects such as machine guarding
  • Improve and issue HSE workshop maintenance procedures/work instructions
  • Be responsible for inspection/audit of workshop contractors
  • Monitor (H&S and E) performance KPIs of our workshop maintenance contractor
  • Support the Safety Talks deployment and HSE induction
  • Check contractor documents and work‑flow process for entrance
  • Manage Investigations and CAPA process
  • Manage HSE Concerns and incidents
  • Be responsible for workshop JSA revision and “Non-Routinary” activities
  • Follow up Management of Change (MOC) procedures

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Degree in a technical field from an accredited university (preferable Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or technical diploma
  • Great experience in HSE operations within the Oil & Gas or Energy Industry
  • Relevant knowledge of HSE management systems, local regulations and widely used international standards
  • Strong knowledge of HSE operations on equipment maintenance (permit to work, interfering risks management)
  • Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to write/read fluently in English
  • Strong teamwork, mediation, relationship‑building and influencing skills
