About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Mandarin Garden Department in Milan, the Runner is responsible to delight and satisfy our guests. The Runner reports to the Director of Mandarin Garden.

Responsibilities

• Transport dishes from the kitchen to the tables ensuring speed and accuracy of service.
• Maintain constant communication with the kitchen and colleagues in the dining room to ensure smooth and seamless service.
• Ensure everything is in order before service begins, from the cutlery on the table to the cleanliness of the Mandarin Garden areas.
• Interface with guests, offering impeccable and sincere service with a smile and the right spirit of hospitality.

Qualifications

• Self‑motivated with great communication skills, fluent in Italian and English.
• Willing to offer professional and impeccable service, ensuring the guest experience at the Mandarin Oriental is exceptional.
