🚀 Field Service Engineer Emilia Romagna

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer Emilia Romagna. The role will conduct service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines the most cost-effective solution. Escalates complex issues to higher level of technical support or quality reporting system. May develop new customer service/product agreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory. The role requires the ability to utilize critical thinking and analysis to make decisions, solve problems, and implement solutions. The candidate should communicate openly and listen with honesty to create empathy with customers, colleagues and collaborators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical customer support and on-site assistance to hospital customers; assistance can occasionally occur during weekends and overnight.
• Escalate complex issues to higher level of technical support.
• Respond to customer support calls within an assigned territory.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred or Biotech Technical/Electronic Secondary School Diploma.
• Open to travel in Emilia Romagna; driving license is mandatory.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Italian.
• Able to work autonomously, while being a team player.
