About the Company

GL Live, part of GL Events, an international group specializing in the organization of large-scale events, is looking for a Car Driver (on a fixed-term contract) to support the management of the prestigious Milano Cortina 2026 project.

About the Role

Provide internal transportation services for company staff, driving employees and collaborators to scheduled destinations (meetings, airports, client sites) efficiently, safely, and professionally.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle (or assigned car) to transport office staff to various destinations such as company sites, meetings, airports, train stations, and other business-related locations.
• Be available and punctual during established office hours (or on-call if required).
• Plan and verify the most efficient routes, considering traffic, road works, and weather conditions.
• Greet passengers courteously, assist with luggage or materials, and ensure a comfortable and safe ride.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, fueled, and in good working order;
  promptly report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain driving logs and records — including mileage, travel times, and any related expenses or tolls.
• Strictly comply with all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company driving standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility in handling unexpected changes in schedules or routes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle used.
• Previous experience as a professional driver, ideally within a corporate or passenger-transport environment.
• Excellent knowledge of the local area (e.G., Milan) and willingness to work outside regular hours if needed.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and customer service orientation.
• Good navigation and route-planning skills (GPS, traffic apps, etc.).
• Professional appearance, discretion, and confidentiality — especially when transporting company employees or guests.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact respectfully with colleagues and managers.
• Clean driving record and no criminal background.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or be on call if required.

Pay range and compensation package

• Contract type: full-time
• Working hours: e.G., 40 hours per week, with flexibility for travel or urgent transfers
• Workplace: company main office in Milan
• Vehicle: provided by the company
• Expected start date: as soon as possible
• Salary: to be determined based on experience and local market
