Responsibilities
The Shift Leader will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Coordinate and supervise staff operations during the assigned shift, ensuring high standards of service and quality. - Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed and promote a positive and motivating work environment for the team. - Address guest needs and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively. - Collaborate with the management team to plan and implement strategies for service improvement and guest experience enhancement. - Train and develop new and existing staff, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback. - Oversee daily operations, including sales reports, inventory, and cleanliness of work areas. - Ensure all safety and hygiene regulations are complied with.
Skills
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Shift Leader experience in Hotel of same category, preferable in Luxury Marriott Properties. - Excellent command of Italian and English. Additional languages will be appreciated. - High school diploma or GED; experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area. - Calm, organized work, strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs preferred. - Proficiency in Opera PMS, MGS, MARSHA Operational Systems required.
