🚀 Application Engineer Software MCAL (f/m/div)

Overview

Application Engineer Software MCAL (f/m/div) role at Infineon Technologies. Join our team in Padova to support automotive software applications and enable customer success.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person for worldwide customers and Infineon’s Field Application Engineers (FAEs), analyzing and answering technical requests and validating findings in the lab
• Enable customers’ applications using Infineon’s 32-bit microcontroller software products
• Train FAEs or customers in your area of technical expertise
• Support software design-in at customers with detailed product expertise of Infineon’s microcontrollers
• Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing technical support from product to system level, including software
• Conduct development and feasibility studies on embedded software applications
• Compile technical concepts and application documentation
• Collaborate and share knowledge with R&D

Your Profile

As a proactive and enthusiastic team player, leverage strong communication skills to listen to customers, balance needs with Infineon’s interests, and drive solutions that exceed expectations. Maintain a flexible, adaptable mindset and focus on continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electronic / Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, ideally with a focus on software aspects of embedded systems
• Professional experience with devices in the automotive domain
• Knowledge in embedded software development using C, with experience working with hardware
• Understanding of (automotive) communication protocols and (real-time) operating systems
• Availability to travel occasionally
• Fluency in English
