🚀 Rust Developer - SECO Mind - Padua

Overview

We are looking for someone to join our software development team in Padua. The person will be responsible for Embedded Rust development for our open source products or occasionally on our customer projects and will take part in internal R&D activities. The ideal candidate will have experience developing in Rust (or another system language) in a work, academic, or open source context. SECO Mind is a young and innovative company that develops technically cutting-edge products in the IoT and AI fields. Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in Rust for open source products and customer projects as part of the software development team in Padua. • Contribute to internal R&D activities and improve existing systems. • Collaborate with team members to design and discuss software architecture, including in English as needed.

Qualifications

The following are required or highly preferred:

• Knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Knowledge of common design patterns
• Ability to design or discuss software architecture
• Knowledge of git

Nice to Have

The following optional skills are appreciated:

• Active participation in conferences or meetups
• Knowledge of secure development practices and common vulnerabilities
• Passion for embedded development with boards such as UDOO, Raspberry Pi, Arduino
