Key Responsibilities
β’ Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes as directed by the Chef de Partie, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate.
β’ Ingredient Management: Ensure all ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and organized. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, portioning, and measuring.
β’ Maintaining Hygiene: Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in accordance with health regulations and the kitchen's stringent policies.
β’ Cleaning Duties: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
β’ Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team, fostering a positive and efficient working environment in a confined space.
β’ Adaptability: Adapt to the unique challenges of working in a mobile kitchen, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met despite the dynamic environment.
β’ Grooming: Observe the kitchen staffβs personal hygiene (e.g., keep your fingernails short and clean, keep your hair and beards neat and tidy, wash hands frequently and thoroughly with soap, work on a clean surface, etc.).
