🚀 Accounts Payable Specialist

**HYBRID ROLE IN MILAN**

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic and fast-paced global organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys taking ownership of financial processes, and has a strong grasp of accounting principles in an international context.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post vendor invoices across multiple regions (domestic and international).
• Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with onboarding and updates to supplier data.
• Review contracts, expense reports, and related documentation to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of key reports.
• Manage payment runs and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Handle VAT and other tax-related declarations in coordination with internal finance teams.
• Analyze travel and expense reports to verify accuracy and adherence to company policy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to resolve invoice or payment issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within an international or mid-sized organization.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable processes and month-end reporting.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel (including working with formulas and reports).
• Experience with CRM or ERP systems is highly advantageous.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian or another European language is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
