🚀 Legal Director - Consumer

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially-minded legal leader to shape strategy and partner with senior stakeholders across a global consumer business. This is a high-impact, strategic role with one direct report and scope to grow the team. The position is global in scope, requiring international collaboration and some regional travel.

What you’ll do:

• Set the legal strategy for customer-facing functions to unlock growth.
• Partner with senior leaders in marketing, procurement, tech, and operations.
• Provide clear, strategic counsel on major legal and regulatory issues.
• Drive digitisation and transformation of the legal function.
• Manage and develop the customer legal team and external counsel relationships.
• Influence policy, regulatory strategy, and industry standards.
• Actively shape the broader global legal agenda.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified lawyer with 10-15 years’ in-house experience.
• Trained at a top law firm, with strong academic credentials.
• Significant experience in a consumer-facing business.
• Strong commercial acumen and international exposure.
• Track record of leading legal teams and managing senior stakeholders.
• Passion for transformation, innovation, and customer-centric growth.
• Strategic thinker with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
• Interest in mobility, sustainability, and emerging technologies.
