We are working with a leading international law firm who are seeking an Associate to join their Employment team within their Belfast office.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an esteemed Employment law department, supporting clients in a range of international and domestic matters. The candidate’s duties will include advising on diligence reviews, strategic HR advisory work, co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional disclosure schedules, conducting investigations, and working on Employment Tribunal claims.

The candidate will play a key role in directly advising a diverse international and domestic client-base on cross-border and high-profile employment law matters. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

• 2+ PQE;
• Strong background in employment law within a medium to large international or City firm;
• Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
