🚀 Team Leader / Quality Controller (HGV Class 2)

Are you an experienced removals professional with an HGV Class 2 licence who takes pride in delivering top-quality service?

We’re looking for a hands-on Team Leader / Quality Controller to join a leading name in the removals industry at their Trafford Park operation.

This is a varied and rewarding role combining driving, team leadership, and quality control responsibilities — ideal for someone who thrives on taking ownership, leading by example, and maintaining exceptional service standards.

In this key operational role, you’ll:

• Lead and motivate crews, setting clear expectations and promoting best practice in customers’ homes and business premises.
• Carry out quality and safety audits on live moves and warehouse operations.
• Coach and train teams to maintain high service and safety standards.
• Take responsibility for managing complex, high-value domestic and business relocations.
• Deal directly with customers on-site, ensuring a smooth, professional experience from start to finish.
• Work closely with management to continually raise quality and performance standards.

This is a customer-facing, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You’ll need to think on your feet, solve problems proactively, and lead with confidence.

About You

• Proven experience in the removals, logistics, or relocation industry.
• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (essential).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of furniture handling, dismantling, and reassembly.
• Professional, well-presented, and confident dealing directly with customers.
• Able to travel and work occasional weekends when required.
• Based within easy commuting distance of Trafford Park, Manchester.
