🚀 Senior Estimator - Passive Fire

We’re working with a leading Passive Fire Protection contractor who specialise in Fire Door and Fire Stopping projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they’re now looking to appoint an Estimator to join their commercial team in Central London.

Role Overview:

The successful Estimator will play a key role in supporting tendering and cost estimation activities for a variety of passive fire projects. Working closely with the commercial and operations teams, you’ll help ensure competitive, accurate, and profitable bids are submitted across new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fire stopping and fire door projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Prepare tender submissions and support the pre-construction process
• Work closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure accurate cost planning
• Maintain cost databases and assist with value engineering exercises
• Support business development through pricing strategies and bid support

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as an Estimator within the Passive Fire Protection or related construction industry
• Knowledge of fire stopping and fire door installation works
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines
• Team player with a proactive, professional attitude
