🚀 Cell Engineer

Our client, a fast-growing next-generation battery developer and spin-out from the University of Cambridge, is at the forefront of lithium-sulphur battery technology. They are seeking Cell Engineer to join their innovative team and contribute to advancing high energy density cell development.

The Cell Engineer will:

• Manufacture pouch cells for development with hands-on precision.
• Operate in dry rooms with semi-automated and automated pouch cell manufacturing equipment, including set-up and optimisation.
• Collaborate with wider teams to ensure work plans and deliverables align with technical and project goals.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, escalate issues as required, and suggest improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support technical and quality standards.

The Cell Engineer will have:

• Proven experience in cell manufacturing (required).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
• Desire to develop a broad range of technical skills and knowledge.
• Good dexterity with strong problem-solving abilities, knowing when to seek guidance.
• Adaptable, resourceful, and proactive with a “get things done” mindset.
