We’re looking for a Head of Engineering to lead a talented, multi-disciplinary team across product and platform engineering. You’ll combine hands-on technical ability with strategic leadership, shaping the engineering culture, architecture, and delivery approach as the company scales.

You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Data to drive high-quality releases, modernise the tech stack, and help the business evolve towards a best-in-class SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams across product and platform functions
• Set technical direction, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
• Remain hands-on where needed – supporting architectural decisions and reviewing code
• Partner with Product and Design to define and deliver an ambitious roadmap
• Build a high-performance culture based on collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Drive modern engineering practices – CI/CD, cloud-native design, observability, and automation
• Support hiring, mentoring, and career development across the engineering team

About You

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a SaaS environment
• Strong background as a hands-on engineer, ideally with experience in cloud-native or distributed systems
• Track record of delivering high-scale consumer or B2C products
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and technical levels
• Experienced in Agile and modern DevOps practices
• Excellent communicator, able to inspire and influence across technical and non-technical teams
