Your New Role

We’re seeking a proactive and commercially minded Legal Counsels to support the Energy Infrastructure and Industrial & Commercial divisions. In these roles, you’ll provide high-quality in-house legal advice on some of the UK’s most exciting sustainable energy projects, from onsite and offsite solar PV and wind to heat pumps and district heating networks. You’ll advise on complex commercial agreements including ESCO, private wire, waste heat off-take, and energy supply contracts, as well as PPAs, metering, and data arrangements. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll balance legal risk management with commercial enablement - helping deliver innovative energy solutions that make a real-world impact.

Your Background

You’ll be a UK-qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in construction or complex commercial contracts, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectors. You bring strong business acumen, a practical and solutions-focused approach, and confidence advising across multiple stakeholders. Experience in a regulated or in-house environment is advantageous, as is familiarity with PPAs or energy infrastructure projects. Above all, you’ll be a clear communicator with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
