🚀 Senior Structural Engineer

CCL Global are currently partnered with a leading engineering consultancy looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their design production team in Bristol. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term growth — starting on the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project, with a clear path to step into a lead engineer role as the team transitions to Sizewell C (SZC).

About the Role

You’ll be part of the design production team working on the delivery of major nuclear infrastructure projects — contributing to complex reinforced concrete and steel structure design, coordination, and production support.

Working closely with senior engineers and project leads, you’ll play a key role in supporting design packages for some of the UK’s most high-profile energy developments.

• Around 5+ years of experience in structural engineering (design-focused)
• Experience with design production tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla, etc.)
• Background in nuclear, energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects (or similarly complex sectors)
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
• Willing to be based in Bristol 3 days per week (hybrid flexibility)

Career Path

• Immediate focus: Support structural design delivery and production on HPC
• Medium term: Progress into a Lead Engineer role as the team mobilizes to Sizewell C or other major infrastructure projects.
