🚀 Finance Systems Analyst

This leading logistic organisation has undertaking a wide reaching transformation programme that has led to significant technical and process change for its finance operation, culminating in the implementation of D365.

They are now looking for a Finance Systems Analyst, based five days a week in the office central London, with a strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes to join the team.

Ideally bringing experience of working in a transformation project or programme, you will play a key role in implementing a roadmap of technical and process changes, contributing day to day in areas such as quarterly D365 upgrade process, monitoring system error logs and issue triage and bug fixing, whilst additionally contributing to a variety of financial projects within the programme.

Your responsibilities will be rich and varied, including:

• Working closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and objectives before documenting them accurately
• Analysing gathered requirements and identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and potential issues
• Creating documentation such as business requirements documents (‘BRDs’), user stories, functional specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams
• Facilitating communication and acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams
• Providing training to users on new / updated business processes
• Triaging system issues / bugs raised by business users and working to find resolutions
• Liaising with third party providers on system issues requiring resolution
• Review upcoming feature releases with Microsoft to identify features that can be utilised by the business or that could impact current processes - you will collaborate with functional teams to develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for user acceptance testing, and perform validation testing to ensure that the developed solution meets the business requirements

To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Ideally previous user or functional experience of Microsoft D365 with PowerBI preferred (experience of other ERP platforms would also be considers)
• Strong analytical, critical thinking abilities and root cause analysis skills
• Experience and proficiency on the delivery of business analyst artefacts (such as user stories, BRDs, process documentation)
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools
• Experience in providing systems demonstrations / training
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to stakeholders and maintain relationships
• Flexible and resilient: able to work in ambiguous situations and persevere
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
