The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Controls Engineer , you’ll support the planning, cost, risk, and performance control of complex capital delivery programmes. Working closely with programme managers, planners, commercial teams and delivery stakeholders, you’ll help ensure projects stay on track — and add value when they don’t.

This is a role for someone who’s technically strong, detail-oriented, and ready to make a real impact on large-scale infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and maintaining integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools
• Supporting cost control, forecasting, and earned value management (EVM)
• Analysing performance data to support informed, data-driven decisions
• Driving change control, variance tracking, and risk analysis processes
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects
• Preparing clear, actionable reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for capable, motivated individuals who are ready to take on more complex challenges and make a real difference on high-value programmes.

You’ll ideally bring:

• 4+ years’ experience in project controls or similar roles
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 , MS Project, and Excel-based tools
• Experience working on major infrastructure projects (rail, defence, utilities, etc.)
• Understanding of project planning, cost control, risk, and performance reporting
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and delivery partners
• A proactive approach and a genuine drive to learn and grow
