Interim Head of Development Finance and Analysis

Location: Manchester

Day Rate: £500

A leading housing and development organisation is looking for an experienced Interim Head of Development Finance and Analysis to provide strategic financial leadership across its northern region.

This is a key senior role supporting major housing and regeneration projects, working closely with regional development, land, and delivery teams to shape investment decisions and manage financial risk.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading financial modelling and commercial analysis for major development and regeneration schemes
• Providing end-to-end financial oversight on joint ventures, partnerships, and large-scale investments
• Presenting insight and recommendations to senior management and Board committees
• Working collaboratively with colleagues in Treasury, Tax, Legal, and wider Finance
• Managing a Senior Development Finance Analyst and representing finance at project boards

About you:

• CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountant
• Proven experience within property, housing, or investment finance
• Skilled in complex financial modelling and commercial analysis
• Confident influencing senior stakeholders and external partners
• Available at short notice and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment
