🚀 Senior Quality Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a leading, highly regulated manufacturer in Sheffield to recruit a Senior Quality Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive quality professional who thrives in a customer-focused, technically demanding environment. You’ll play a key role in driving product and process quality, working closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams — ensuring world-class standards from new product introduction through to ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as a key liaison for customers, managing quality issues and ensuring clear communication of requirements.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support APQP and QMS deliverables, including FMEA, validation, and risk analysis.
• Plan and execute process and equipment validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and assess process capability.
• Develop inspection criteria, sampling plans, and gauging methods aligned with customer requirements.
• Analyse and present data using statistical tools such as SPC, DOE, Gage R&R, Pareto, and regression analysis.
• Conduct training on quality procedures, standards, and work instructions.
• Perform internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree or recognised apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical, aerospace, or automotive preferred).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CAPA, SPC, DOE).
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or QSR compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong cross-functional and customer relationships.
• Detail-oriented, data-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
