The Role
Our client is already making a real impact within the music industry, with a small team of industry leading figures driving the business forward. Described by highly respected figures as a boutique music rights acquisition business, our client are well backed by a prestigious and successful Private Equity investment management firm. The business is focused on acquiring and building a portfolio of well-established music copyright assets, all expertly managed under the company brand.
This role will be pivotal in managing the seamless onboarding of newly acquired catalogues, ensuring that all assets—from metadata to artwork—are integrated accurately and efficiently. Working closely with colleagues across rights, finance, legal, and external administrators, you’ll make sure the transition process is smooth, robust, and fit for long-term growth.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the ingestion of catalogue assets (financial data, audio, metadata, artwork, and documents) during acquisition
- Ensure accurate and consistent metadata entry, rights clearances, and registrations across systems
- Liaise between acquisition teams, legal, finance, and administrators to confirm ownership and registration details
- Maintain onboarding checklists and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule
- Track and organise data across internal systems
- Verify metadata integrity (titles, artists, ISRCs, ISWCs, rights holders, cue sheets, etc.)
- Provide regular onboarding updates to internal stakeholders (finance, sync, licensing)
- Troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities to improve onboarding workflows and systems
- Ad hoc tasks to contribute to the wider business
What We Need to See (Essential)
- 2–3 years’ experience in music industry royalty administration or analysis
- Passion for the music industry and understanding of royalty structures
What We’d Like to See (Bonus)
- Exposure to catalogue release campaigns, playlisting, or promotional strategies
- Legal or contractual experience around catalogue acquisitions
- Familiarity with CRM systems
Package:
Salary: ÂŁ35,000-ÂŁ40,000
Hybrid Pattern: ~3 days per week in office, 2 days per week remote
