They are seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to play a pivotal role in driving client engagement, building long-term relationships, and contributing to the company’s continued success in the business rates sector.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact between the organisation and prospective clients, effectively communicating the company’s range of services and developing strong client relationships by way of lead generation through telesales and telemarketing.
  • Maintain contact with potential clients to enhance the organisation’s corporate image and convert prospects into active clients.
  • Use industry knowledge and negotiation skills to achieve the best possible fee arrangement that aligns with both client and company expectations.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and present software products that support the rating industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Rating Agents to secure historical audit sales and develop long-term partnership agreements.
  • Accurately update the EMIS in-house system in a timely manner, supporting the sales order process and managing client documents.
  • Lead client sales meetings where required and contribute to improving the sales process.
  • Participate in training and performance reviews to ensure an up-to-date understanding of company products and industry developments.
  • Review and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, continually striving for higher performance.


Personal Specification

  • Proven experience in sales , preferably within the property or business rates industry.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from board members to administrators.
  • Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and results-driven approach to work.
  • Enthusiasm for developing long-term client partnerships and contributing to business growth.
  • A genuine interest in professional development through ongoing training and mentoring.
