Location: 3 days working on site Central London or Leeds offices
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + benefits

About the Role
Stanton House is supporting a prestigious client in the legal sector that is seeking for a Senior Business Analyst to join in and drive the operational excellence and continuous improvement across the firm. This role leads complex, cross-functional initiatives that enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and align with strategic goals. By applying a process-led and data-driven approach, the Senior Business Analyst ensures that every initiative delivers measurable value — improving outcomes for both internal teams and clients.
As a senior member of the Business Improvement Team , you will help define and champion best practice in business analysis, mentoring others and contributing to the firm’s culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex, cross-functional initiatives to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate within a team of five specialists, providing direction, support, and oversight to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality analysis and outputs.
- Engage with stakeholders and clients, ensuring effective use of tools, products, and services through clear communication and ongoing support.
- Continuously review and refine business processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure alignment with evolving business priorities.
- Drive discovery and documentation of capabilities and processes to promote clarity, consistency, and efficiency across teams.
- Define and manage business requirements, ensuring alignment between current and future states throughout project lifecycles.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, facilitating engagement and ensuring transparent communication on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Mentor and support junior analysts, embedding best practices and consistent methodologies across the function.
- Support implementation, change management, and training activities to ensure operational readiness and seamless adoption of new processes and tools.
Skills Required
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within tight and sometimes conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organisation.
- Significant experience leading business analysis in complex, matrix organisations, driving high-impact initiatives.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex business challenges and deliver practical, actionable solutions.
- Skilled in root cause and impact analysis using a range of business analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience developing business cases and defining measurable benefits to support strategic decision-making.
- Proficient in requirements elicitation and management, including workshop facilitation, documentation, and alignment with IT deliverables.
- Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with hands-on experience applying each.
- Expertise in business process modelling (BPMN 2.0) using tools such as Visio , including the ability to create capability models, process catalogues, and SIPOCs.
- Demonstrated application of Lean/Six Sigma principles to analyse and optimise business processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to a range of audiences.
- Proven success in managing complex stakeholder landscapes and balancing competing priorities
