Description: Weâre looking for a determined, creative and resilient individual to lead on securing sponsorship and external funding to support some of Cambridgeâs most iconic cultural events, including the Cambridge Folk Festival, Cambridge Corn Exchange and Guildhalls programme, and the City Events programme.Youâll take ownership of identifying and approaching potential sponsors and funders, developing proposals, and building meaningful partnerships that help sustain and grow these much-loved events. Working closely with event leads, the Audience Development Officer, the Creative Partnership team and others, youâll also identify potential grant funders and lead on the development of successful bids.As our in-house expert in fundraising and sponsorship, youâll provide advice and support to managers and colleagues across the service, helping to shape our approach to partnership working and income generation.Youâll bring experience in sponsorship, fundraising or partnership development, ideally within the arts, culture or events sectors.
