Nurse Disability Assessor – Hybrid – Brighton – £40,000

*Location:* Brighton (Hybrid – part home, part office)
*Salary:* £40,000 per year
*Hours:* Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hrs). Part-time considered.
*Training:* Fully paid 10-week programme (full-time hours)

The role

As a Nurse Disability Assessor, you will:

* Use your nursing skills to complete medical assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claimants
* Review medical evidence and evaluate how conditions affect daily living
* Produce detailed medical reports for the DWP
* Work to achievable quality and productivity targets in a supportive team

What we need from you

* Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with valid NMC registration
* Minimum 1 year post-registration experience
* Strong report writing and communication skills
* Ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines
