🚀 Lead Dental Nurse

We're looking for a superstar lead nurse to join our growing team at Bassett Dental & Aesthetics!

*About the role:*
You'll lead and mentor our team of both qualified and trainee dental nurses, support the practice manager by carrying out additional duties such as clinical audits, stock management and ordering, provide chairside assistance to our dentists, hygienists, and therapists, perform decontamination duties, and act as the Infection Control Lead.

The hours will be as follows, with an expected start date in January 2026:

* Monday 8:30 – 17:15
* Tuesday 8:30 – 17:15
* Wednesday 8:30 – 17:15
* Thursday 7:45 - 17:15
* Friday 8 – 2

*We’re looking for someone with:*

* At least 3 years’ experience within general dental practice
* A recognised dental nursing qualification and GDC registration
* Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* A strong team ethic and a passion for helping others
* An enthusiastic attitude towards their role and the progression of the practice
* Good time keeping, reliability and a proactive attitude
* A willingness to learn and progress in a supported environment
* A kind, caring nature suitable for a healthcare environment
* Able to follow practice protocols and instructions
* Excellent general hygiene and personal appearance
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and general IT use
* (Bonus) Experience with Exact dental software would be advantageous
* (Bonus) Experience with NHS dentistry would be useful but not essential
