This role plays a pivotal part in driving financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic transformation across a dynamic healthcare environment.As a key partner to our business and operations teams, you will lead change initiatives, optimize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, and ensure compliance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting background, an analytical mindset, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Lead and manage month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and complianceOversee technical accounting for complex transactions and activation tasksMaintain and enhance accounting systems and internal controlsProvide financial insights to support business decisions and transformation initiativesDrive simplification and standardization of financial processes across UK & IrelandPartner with cross-functional teams to implement ERP improvements and digital finance solutionsSupport audit processes and ensure adherence to accounting policies and proceduresRequired Knowledge and Experience:Professional Accounting Qualification ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certifiedExperience in accounting/finance roles with a strong technical foundationAdvanced proficiency in SAP, OneStream, PowerBI, Ingenica (i360) (preferred) and ability to drive ERP enhancementsDemonstrated success in finance transformation, process redesign, and change managementStrong capability in handling complex accounting issues, reconciliations, and financial analysisPhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits PackageA commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
