Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor - Locum (3 Months) Department: Commercial Property Reports to: Head of Department Overview: An excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to manage a varied, high-quality caseload. The role involves handling all aspects of commercial property transactions, advising a broad range of clients, and contributing to the success of a collaborative legal team. Key Responsibilities: Manage acquisitions, disposals, and financing of freehold and leasehold commercial properties. Handle all Landlord and Tenant matters, including drafting, negotiating, and renewals. Advise on secured lending and property finance, preparing and reviewing relevant documentation. Independently manage a busy caseload, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. Provide clear, practical advice to clients and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders. Draft contracts, identify risks, and manage billing and fund disbursements in line with policy. Support junior colleagues and contribute to continuous service improvement. About You: Minimum 5 years PQE in Commercial Property. Strong technical knowledge of property law and commercial practice. Confident managing complex files and delivering pragmatic legal advice. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines. A proactive team player with a commitment to outstanding client service.
