🚀 Senior Analytical Development Scientist

SRG are looking for a Senior Analytical Development Scientist for a 12 month contract (possibility to be made permanent) with our client who are a global manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. This is an exciting and challenging role and a chance to join a company who are displaying continued success in their field. This is a key role within the team where you will be helping and assisting the team with technical problem solving. The Role: Responsibility for team workload and leading team and individual meetings Ensuring all analytical work (method transfer/development, formulation support, method validation, technical batch stability, etc) is performed and reported within agreed timelines Carrying out complex, technical problem solving and trouble-shooting Providing support for other members of the team Reviewing routine analytical data generated by colleagues within the Analytical Development group Liaising with other departments internally as well as clients and customers Take ownership of lab equipment responsibilities and interact with suppliers Author reports, SOPs and other process documentation as required Work within regulatory guidelines Requirements: Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant science related discipline Strong technical skills in analytical methods including HPLC as an essential requirement Experience within a similar laboratory environment, ideally a CDMO or CMO Prior experience of working in a fast-paced environment where you are used to thinking on your feet Experience of liaising with external stakeholders and customers would be beneficial Previous supervisory experience or leading a small team would be useful Understanding of working in a regulated environment Must be able to demonstrate organisational skills and technical knowledge Strong communication skills Benefits: The client offer a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent pension, health insurance and additional lifestyle benefits among others.
