🚀 Plant Quality Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a highly-regulated manufacturer who are seeking a Plant Quality Manager. The role will lead and maintain the plant’s quality management system in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 , and internal standards, acts as the customer representative on-site , manage the plant’s quality team, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Implement and uphold the plant’s quality policies and management system. Manage and develop quality technicians and engineers. Oversee key processes and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Lead product safety and conformity activities. Authorize chargebacks for customer claims and coordinate quality issues with suppliers. Conduct audits, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvement projects. Ensure adherence to quality tools and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP). Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 , and automotive customer-specific requirements. Experience with process improvement, quality audits, and statistical analysis . Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field . Extensive experience in manufacturing quality management , preferably in the automotive sector. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, metrology, and industrialisation processes .
