About the Role The Obs and Gynae Sonographer will play a crucial role in providing high-quality ultrasound services to patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and contributing to the overall care of women’s health. Responsibilities Perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations. Provide accurate and timely reports to physicians. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality. Assist in the training of junior staff and students. Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology. Scope of Work Obstetric Scans: Dating Scans Viability Early Pregnancy Pregnancy Mid-Trimester Growth Uterine Artery Doppler Placental Localisation Cervical Length Renal Upper Abdominal Liver Leg Vein Doppler Gynaecological Scans: Pelvic Pelvis Kidney Abdominal & Pelvic Abdominal Biopsy/Drainage Qualifications Must be located in commutable distance to Leicester, England, United Kingdom Previous experience in obstetrics and gynecology Knowledge of Medicine and Radiology HCPC or RCT accredited 1-2 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology Required Skills Proficient in performing obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Pay range and compensation package The rate of pay for this position ranges £50-£60 per hour.
