Overview
Head of Sales – Rapidly Expanding IT Services Company – Scotland – £Competitive + Great benefits. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, shaping commercial strategy, and building a high-performing sales team across Scotland. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will align customer relationships, partner ecosystems, and internal sales practices to deliver scalable and sustainable growth.
The role is based in Scotland with occasional travel to the company HQ in the South East of England.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a clear commercial and sales strategy across all customer segments
- Inspire, coach and manage a high-performing sales and account management team to exceed targets
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability
- Build strong customer and partner relationships, representing the company at industry events
- Ensure a customer-first culture with regular QBRs and tailored digital roadmaps to maximise client value
- Oversee bid management, pricing strategies, and deal structuring to optimise margins
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver scalable IT and Unified Communications solutions
- Monitor and analyse sales, marketing, finance and performance data to identify opportunities
- Manage and report on out-of-contract revenue and performance targets
- Lead succession planning and development pathways within Sales and Account Management
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience leading sales teams in IT, telecoms or technology services within the Scottish region
- Proven experience shaping and delivering commercial strategy with a track record of revenue and margin growth
- Hands-on B2B solution selling experience with IT and UC products/services
- Strong understanding of deal structuring, pricing, and bid development
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and influencing abilities
- Skilled in Excel and data-driven sales management
