As a Senior Corporate Lawyer, you will lead and manage corporate transactions for commercial clients—ranging from SMEs to FTSE-listed firms—including M&A, restructurings, joint ventures, and corporate governance.

Role Profile:

  • Lead all stages of corporate transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating complex documentation, and managing closing processes working closely with the other offices of the firm.
  • Provide high-quality advisory work on M&A, restructures, joint ventures, equity fundraising, and strategic corporate planning.
  • Draft and negotiate a range of commercial contracts and ancillary agreements.
  • Supervise and mentor Associates and Solicitors, offering guidance and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments (e.g., tax, real estate, dispute resolution) to assemble integrated solutions.
  • Drive business development by building client relationships, contributing to pitch materials, and enhancing the firm’s presence in the market.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in high-value, complex corporate transactions.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent drafting and negotiation ability.
  • Business-savvy with a clear commercial mindset.

  • Highly organised, with adept time-management to manage multiple matters.
  • Flexibility and adaptability across diverse transactions and industries.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering precise legal solutions.

On Offer:

  • A highly competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Engagement with diverse, high-impact corporate transactions for both local and national clients, including large corporates and financial institutions.
  • A partner-led, collaborative working culture that encourages autonomy and career progression.
