Our client is a diversified energy and commodities trading company seeking to recruit a commodities trading lawyer for their busy London legal team.

You will work on a broad range of dry shipping and trading matters, covering both physically and financially settled crude oil, refined oil products, greens, and bulk. For the right individual, a wider range of legal work will be available, including finance and M&A, and there is an expectation that you will collaborate closely with the business teams from day one. An interest and aptitude for commercial decision-making will be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ PQE and may be currently working in a law firm, seeking to transition in-house. Full training and support will be provided, especially for those with a disputes background. Candidates outside this profile will also be considered.
