About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources People Partner / HR Advisor to join our clients team based in Belfast. This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site, supporting stakeholders across various Operational Divisions.
As a trusted HR advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive and professional HR service. You will work closely with divisional management teams to develop and implement effective people solutions that drive organisational performance and foster positive employee relations.
Responsibilities
Change Management & Organisational Performance
- Deliver innovative HR solutions to support divisional goals.
- Contribute to strategic HR projects aligned with corporate objectives.
- Promote a performance management culture through coaching and support.
Management & Leadership
- Advise and support managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, and mediation.
- Interpret employment legislation and HR policies to ensure best practice.
- Manage complex absence cases in collaboration with Occupational Health and HR Senior People Partners.
- Support recruitment and selection processes.
- Produce regular and ad hoc HR reports to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an HR role, including employee relations in a unionised environment .
- Proven ability to prioritise and organise effectively to meet business objectives.
- Minimum HNC/HND or equivalent in a business-related or HRM discipline.
- CIPD qualified .
Technical & Behavioural Competencies
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in organisational change and culture development .
- Proven ability to manage and deliver HR projects .
- Willingness to travel across Northern Ireland as required.
- Able to meet relevant medical standards for the role.
