🚀 Senior Product Manager - LATAM

Overview

The LATAM & MEA team is responsible for 50+ markets across both regions. The team maintains our customer experience and infrastructure that moves billions of customer money every quarter. As a PM, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Convenience: Making remittance as simple as domestic payments. You will build integrations and partnerships that improve end-to-end speed of transfers and localise the money movement experience for customers sending money to and from LatAm & MEA.
• Scalability & Resilience: Build a scalable money movement platform that can grow with our customer base. Ensure seamless money transfers by enhancing our infrastructure's resilience at scale.
• Expand: Decide what new markets to launch. What use cases can we serve? How do we differentiate? You will be empowered to make decisions that shape the direction of Wise.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills
• You have experience of making data-driven decisions in complex situations.
• You are comfortable working with analysts and give them useful feedback on their analysis.
• Plus: You are comfortable analysing large datasets to draw insights on your own without analyst support.
• Plus: You are comfortable querying databases to pull data you need at speed yourselves. You are able to do this under pressure and with confidence.
• Technical skills: You are comfortable working with engineers and earning their trust. You are able to regularly unblock engineers in their decisions and have confidence to suggest alternative solutions. You have a decent understanding of the engineering development process and can spot when engineers need help and unblock them proactively.
• Structured thinking and communication: You can structure an ambiguous problem into clear actionable steps and collaborate with ops/banking/engineers to break down and structure problems. You are comfortable solving problems in unstructured complex situations and can carve out a clear path in seemingly chaotic situations. You can build relationships across the organization to gain support for your team and inspire the organisation with their plans and vision. You strive to create a positive working culture and incorporate valid feedback from your team.
• Entrepreneurial / Hustler: You have a track record of getting things done. You can take on complex projects requiring cross-team support and unblock yourself and your team. You are comfortable navigating the organisation to find creative ways to unblock progress. When resources are limited, you jump in hands-on (e.g., opening Figma when needed). You question assumptions to drive impact.
• Plus: If you have experience working and negotiating with external partners.
