🚀 Aspiring Probation Officer

Overview

Aspiring Probation Officer role at Pertemps Education Network. The position is located in a specialist school in Guildford and is focused on children aged 11‑16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent support, emotional regulation and re‑engagement with learning for students with SEMH challenges.
• Identify risks and needs, including ACEs, and collaborate with teachers and specialist staff, escalating when necessary.
• Use trauma‑informed de‑escalation and behaviour strategies to keep students safe, secure and empowered.
• Support students to avoid entry into the criminal justice system by increasing engagement, attainment and life chances.
