Location: Darlington, England, United Kingdom
Salary: ÂŁ27,164
Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

We’re looking for an organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive HR Administrator to join our friendly Human Resources team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering a seamless HR service across the full employee life cycle, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for colleagues across the business.

What You’ll Do
- Be the first point of contact for HR queries via email, phone, and shared inbox, providing professional and helpful responses.
- Handle day‑to‑day HR administrative processes across the employee life cycle – onboarding, changes to employment, leavers, benefits, and absence.
- Accurately maintain employee records in HR systems and ensure compliance with agreed standards.
- Support the HR team with reports, presentations, training records, and ad‑hoc projects.
- Take confidential notes during employee relations meetings and assist with HR compliance and health & safety procedures.
- Build positive relationships across all levels of the business and contribute to an inclusive work culture.
Who We’re Looking For
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR or professional services.
- Confident using Microsoft Office tools and thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Proactive, willing to learn, and motivated to grow within HR.
- Willing to undergo vetting in line with BS:7858 requirements.
