Talent Acquisition Specialist – Retail, ROI & NI

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. The role involves travel across all Primark stores in ROI & NI, regular trips to our offices in Dublin, and occasional trips to Great Britain. Minimum 3 days in store/office per week.

What you’ll do

  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert, partnering with the region to define short‑ to mid‑term recruitment requirements, including risk identification.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan and deliver a progressive recruitment strategy for ROI & NI (48 stores), ensuring business objectives are met.
  • Accountable for full end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle of Retail Management positions within your region, ensuring fair and consistent selection process in line with Primark policies.
  • Ensure Primark branding/EVP is reflected throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain effective talent banks for key roles and locations.
  • Effectively manage and monitor key metrics and adhere to set SLAs.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to increase capability through feedback and coaching.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert to stores in recruitment of retail non‑management roles.
  • Visit stores within the region to understand their individual recruitment needs and challenges.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven recruiter with in‑house or specialist agency background, working in Retail or Hospitality.
  • Understanding of recruitment life cycle, inclusive hiring practices, ability to identify and search for top talent.
  • Social media skills, knowledge of using platforms to attract talent in line with company EVP.
  • Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, able to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Ability to translate data into practical insight to inform decision making.
  • Keeps up to date with market trends and competitor activity.
  • Passionate about doing a great job.
